We are APS Land

In August 2026, we became APS Land Services. The new name reflects the work we've been perfecting for decades while carrying forward the standard we started with: hard work, honesty, and being exceptionally good at what we do.

APS Land has supported hundreds of energy and infrastructure projects across North America and conducted thousands of successful negotiations involving right-of-way, leasing, permitting, land access, and other property rights. Our team has developed deep technical expertise in ownership and title research, GIS, and the acquisition, compilation, and management of complex project data. We've proven our capabilities and technical expertise through difficult jurisdictions, challenging access, and demanding field conditions across private, state, federal, and tribal lands.

Decades in the field have brought an evolving industry landscape, advancing technologies, and changing client demands. We continuously refine how we operate while staying focused on what matters most: getting the details right and delivering on time. We take great pride in protecting landowners, field crews, the environment, and the projects entrusted to us.

Meet the Team

Mark Fischbuch

President & Founder

Mark Fischbuch began working in the seismic industry in 1980, gaining experience in various positions throughout field operations. Mark eventually built his own company, drawing on that background to improve the research, information gathering, and land access processes that too often delayed field work.

Mark has built deep expertise in land services through decades of ownership research, landowner negotiations, and overseeing field operations. That firsthand knowledge continues to shape how APS works today.

Zane Nelson

Vice President

Zane Nelson joined a growing APS in 2010 after distinguishing himself as a successful leader in geoscience business operations. He immediately assumed the role of CFO, transforming the company's financial structure and positioning APS for its next stage of growth. As his role grew, Zane took on project leadership and increasingly assumed responsibility for the company's day-to-day operations.

Today, Zane serves as Vice President, overseeing APS's operations while working closely with clients and project teams. Years of direct involvement in projects, landowner negotiations, field operations, and client relationships have shaped how he leads the company. He continues to drive APS's growth, pursue new opportunities, and expand its capabilities across the industry.
